Our Process
We make mouth guards for many needs, from sports guards to sleep apnea devices, but the process is similar for all.
Creating a custom mouth guard will take 2 appointments. At the first, we’ll begin by taking a 3D scan of your teeth. This scan will then be sent to a laboratory, where your custom guard is shaped to your teeth.
When you return for your delivery visit, we’ll test the fit of your guard to make sure that it fits you perfectly.. We’ll also discuss how to clean and maintain it so you’ll be worry free.

Store-bought guards are not effective for keeping your teeth safe. The materials used to make over-the-counter guards are weak and unable to stand up to your needs. They can even make your problems with TMD worse over time. By choosing a custom guard, you’ll have the perfect one for you!
It’s important to clean your mouth guard regularly to prevent the buildup of harmful bacteria. We suggest brushing your mouthguard with your toothbrush and rinsing it well each day. Every so often, you will also want to soak your guard in an antimicrobial liquid such as mouthwash.
If you choose us for your custom mouth guard in Wellesley, it will come in a ventilated case. You should always store it dry in this case to make sure the guard stays clean and safe. By following proper care instructions, you can extend the life of your mouth guard significantly.
