Our Process
If you’re in need of a sports mouth guard, you’ll need 2 appointments with us.
At the first, we’ll examine your teeth and then take a 3D scan of them, which will be used to create the guard. We’ll send this digital information to a lab that specializes in making custom mouth guards. They’ll create a custom piece form-fitted to your teeth.
You’ll come in for your second appointment after we’ve received your new guard from the lab. At this appointment, we’ll test your mouth guard to make sure it fits snugly and comfortably over your teeth. If it feels comfortable to you, we’ll give you your mouth guard and you’ll be ready for action!
What Sports Mouth Guards Prevent

Knocked out teeth
-

If you’ve received a custom sports mouth guard in Wellesley, MA, it will be durable and long-lasting. Still, guards will need to be replaced over time as you wear them down.
If you’re an adolescent in need of a mouth guard, you will also need to replace your guard more frequently as your mouth structure is still growing.
Replacing your guard every sports season is a good rule of thumb for most people, but if you feel like your guard has stopped fitting properly or has worn down, it may be time to visit us for a new one.
Store-bought guards typically only come in a few sizes, and it is virtually impossible to find one that perfectly fits your teeth. With a professionally made custom guard, on the other hand, you’ll ensure the best protection with a guard form-fitted around your teeth to keep you safe.
