Crowns and veneers seem similar, but they provide very different functions. Crowns are a restorative procedure that strengthens and repairs damaged teeth. They restore the functionality of broken or worn down teeth and improve their appearance as well.
Veneers are focused more on the cosmetic side of dentistry. They cover only the front of your teeth to improve your appearance and hide any imperfections. Veneers don’t provide the structural or functional benefits of crowns.
