Our Historic Practice
The Dental Studios has strong roots in the Boston area.
Our dental office in Wellesley has a lineage that traces back to the 1800s, when Dr. William T.G. Morton opened his practice out of his own home in the place now known as Wellesley Town Hall.
We’re located in Wellesley’s historic Fraser Medical Building. The building was designed in the early 1800s to house Fraser’s Flowers, a florist’s shop and greenhouse. The business was successful for several generations, notably winning the 1846 Horticultural Exhibition and later being contracted to design the “Boston Convent Garden” in 1914, now known around the world as the Boston Public Garden.
The Fraser family sold the building in 1966 to a developer who expanded the property and reopened it as the Fraser Medical Building.
In the ensuing years, the building has become known for attracting the finest healthcare providers and treating patients from many surrounding areas with the best quality care.
Today, our dental office in Wellesley is proud to reside in the Fraser Medical Building and continue its legacy of excellence.

Take I-95 North. Follow the route to Exit 54/55 A and merge onto Route 9 West. Follow Route 9 West to the ramp for Route 16/Wellesley Hills. Make a slight left onto Washington Street. Follow Washington to Abbott Road. Turn left onto Abbot Road, then follow the parking instructions below.
Take I-90 West/Massachusetts Turnpike West. Follow until Exit 123A towards Waltham and merge onto I- 95 South. Follow to Exit 56 A-B/57 (Route 16 West/Grove Street). Keep left for Route 16 West/Wellesley. Continue on Route 16/Washington Street to Abbott Road. Turn left onto Abbott Road, then follow the parking instructions below.
Take I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike East. Follow the route to Exit 123 I-95 South, keeping right for the exit ramp fork. Follow I-95 South to Exit 56 A-B/57 (Route 16 West/Grove Street). Keep left off the fork for Route 16 West/Washington Street. Follow Washington Street to Abbott Road. Turn left onto Abbot Road, then follow the parking instructions below.
After turning onto Abbott Road from Washington Street, turn into the second driveway on the left. This will lead you to the complimentary off-street parking lot for the Fraser Medical Building, the location for our dental office in Wellesley. Once you have safely parked, please proceed to the entrance located on the left side of the building (the wall nearest the main door has been decorated with a very large American flag that faces Abbott Road). Once inside, please continue to the second floor via the stairway or the elevator. We are located on the right side of the corridor, at the midpoint of the building, in Suite 240.
Use the closest MBTA trolley route to your location and proceed to South Station. From South Station, board a Framingham/Worcester Line train. The stop closest to Wellesley Dental Studio is called Wellesley Hills and it is directly across from the Fraser Medical Building.
